Certificate of Occupancy - 10/23/2014

SUPER late on some of the last pictures.  The first picture is the most exciting - we received our Certificate of Occupancy ("CO") from the County on October 23, 2014!  Even though we had already moved in (shhhhh!), it felt like it was finalized once we received the CO.  BIG RELIEF!!

We ordered some cool planters for the front porch.

Now we just need plants to go in them!

The planters at the garage doors will hold either Wisteria or Confederate Jasmine.  Whatever is planted will hopefully creep up the trellis over the garage doors.  Someday.

The colors in the left column are the Sherwin Williams colors that went in/on the house.  Passive is the gray color used on the walls in the living room and master bedroom.  I think Argos is the paint color on the exterior house....I think.  And we painted the dresser in the master bedroom "Cityscape".

Some of the first artwork we hung!  Terrible picture, but it looks great.

Landscaping installed | more light fixtures hung - 10/14/2014

The landscaping was installed last Friday, October 10th.

Lots of Podocarpus plants!  My favorite.

The plants are pretty small, but they were cheaper that way.

Jonathan's giant work room in the garage.  Light fixture puts out a ton of light.

Light fixture in powder bath was installed, as well as the wall tile.  Wall tile still needs to be finished, had to order more, waiting on the delivery.

Another picture of the fireplace, I love it so much.

Only one of the island pendant lights was installed (it's a long story...), we have to wait on more cord to be delivered to install the second one.

Amanda's mom bought one fixture and Amanda's sister bought the other fixture (as a wedding gift, birthday gift, Christmas gift, all combined, haha!).  Very thankful because they are awesome.

The second fixture will go to the right of the one installed.

Master bath sconces were installed today.  LOVE.

Mirrors will be installed in the next couple of weeks.

Construction of Fireplace Mantel | Install of Various Fixtures - 10/8/2014

More progress on the house.  Light fixture in the wet bar was installed:

Vali Lazar and his guys came down from Atlanta to construct the fireplace mantel.  This picture was taken on October 7th while they were forming the mantel.

This picture was taken on October 8th after they had finished the mantel.

Kitchen sink faucet was installed.

Microwave and the "appliance cubby" cabinet were installed - appliance cubby is directly beneath the microwave.

Slim cabinet between the washer/dryer was installed.

Jonathan and I marked where we wanted all of the bath fixtures and rods installed on October 7th and they were installed on the 8th.

Master bath faucets installed.

Master bath towel rod installed. Master bath shower fittings installed.

Shower shelf installed.

Doors added to cabinet in closet.

Carpet was installed in the 2 spare bedrooms.  Love it, such a pretty light grey color.

Rest of the stair parts in the stair case to the top floor were installed.

Playroom on top floor, carpet installed.
